Year 5/6 enjoyed a trip to Stockport Air Raid Shelters as part of their new topic 'Friend or Foe'. Children dressed up as WW2 evacuees to enhance their experience, learning all about what it was like to be an evacuee. Additionally, they spent time in the tunnels below Stockport learning about how the people of the town protected themselves during air raids.

Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish Council have the original photographs which have been displayed over the final half term until they can be transferred to the records office or back to school.
