Week beginning the 2nd November 2015
This week our theme has been Bonfire Night. We have been having lots of fun re-telling our Bonfire Night experiences and sequencing the story of the Gun Powder Plot. We have watched Bonfire Night safety videos and used these to create our own safety poster as a class. We watched fire work videos to listened to and write the sounds fireworks make e.g. “pop!”, “bang!” and “boom!” In maths our focus has been 3D shapes and we discussed the different 3D shapes we could use to junk model a firework rocket.
Next week our theme will be Remembrance Sunday and Diwali. We will continue to look at 3D shapes and their properties.
