Reception 5th-8th January week review and Star of the Week- Mallory

Reception week beginning 4th January

Happy New Year! This week we have begun or new topic- Making Waves. We focused on the story ‘The Rainbow Fish’ by Marcus Pfister. We read through and acted out the story and discussed the key messages of sharing and friendship in the story. We thought of lots of adjectives to describe The Rainbow Fish. In maths we made our own rainbow fish scales and counted how many of each colour we used.

Star of the Week 

This week’s star of the week is Mallory, Mallory has showed excellence knowledge of our under the sea topic and thought of amazing adjectives to describe ‘The Rainbow Fish’. Well done Mallory, You Star!

Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish Council have the original photographs which have been displayed over the final half term until they can be transferred to the records office or back to school.
