Investigating Habitats

Lesson: Science

As part of out Science topic "Living things and their Habitats", the Infant class went out into the sensory garden and onto the school field to investigate the habitats that could be found there. The children put on their wellies and got up close and personal with some interesting bugs. The children loved using our bug finder pots and observing the different living things that they found using the magnifying glasses.  It looks like we have lots of residents in our "Bug Hotel" in the sensory garden! Miss Chaloner then released all the bugs back to their natural habitats to carry on with their day. The children are really enjoying this topic, see what you can find in different habitats that you come across e.g. the beach, your garden. Let us know what you find!

Congratulations to Alex who is this week's Star of the Week for trying really hard our Handwriting sessions. Well done Alex!
