Chester Zoo trip

As part of our topic "Carnival of the Animals", the Infants went to Chester Zoo for our WOW experience. While we were there we explored the different habitats and found out about the plants and animals living there. The children enjoyed a ride on the monorail, seeing many of the different animals and enclosures from a birds eye view. Highlights included, the jaguar, the komodo dragon and even getting up close and personal with an orangutan! We even had time for a quick spend in the shop!

Commemorative magazines can be obtained from Utkinton Village Hall or St Helen's Church in Tarporley.


Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish Council have the original photographs which have been displayed over the final half term until they can be transferred to the records office or back to school.
